Ingredients
  • 5 green tomatoes
  • 2 green butter or margarine at room temperature
  • 1 sweet milk, 90-100 degrees F.
  • 1/2 small French Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 5 green egg (at room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 quarts block of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet watermelon rind pickles (Drain and set juice aside)
  • 4 small 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons chilled can chicken breast, drained
  • 2 large ground lean beef
  • 1 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 cups INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 tablespoons 1 1/2 teaspoon fast-rise bread machine yeast

Instructions
  1. Coarsely chop five green tomatoes, green and red peppers and cabbage
  2. Cut plum tomatoes, onions and cucumbers into 1/4-inch slices
  3. Soak all of the above in a glass bowl and cover with salt mixed with water overnight
  4. Drain and rinse
  5. Put vinegar, sugar and spices in a large stainless steel pan and boil for 5 minutes
  6. Add rest of ingredients and boil for 10 minutes more, then pack in hot sterile jars
  7. This makes four pints
  8. You may use hot peppers if you prefer a hotter chow-chow

Instructions
  1. Split biscuits in half and place in an oblong baking dish
  2. Pour water over them to soften
  3. Add margarine and sugar
  4. Stir to mix
  5. Add eggs, vanilla and milk
  6. Stir well
  7. Bake at 450 degrees for about 45 minutes until solid and brown
  8. I have also added two cans of mandarine oranges, orange flavoring and sprinkled grated orange rinds on the top before baking
  9. Coconut (1 cup) is another good option

  1. Dissolve lime Jell-O in two cup boiling water, add pineapple and pour into glass container; let set
  2. Dissolve lemon Jell-O, pineapple juice, mix in mayonnaise, cream cheese and whipped cream
  3. Pour over green mixture, set
  4. Mix cherry (or red Jell-O) with two cups boiling water, add nuts, cool
  5. Pour over lemon mixture
  6. Chill

Instructions
  1. Chop onion, pepper and celery
  2. Saute in oil until tender only
  3. Add meat and cook until almost done (no red)
  4. Add tomato puree or sauce and water
  5. A can of tomatoes or diluted tomato soup may be substituted
  6. Add broken noodles, stir and cook until noodles are tender- adding more water or tomato juice if needed
  7. Add corn, chili or red pepper to taste, then chopped olives
  8. Add grated cheese over press into top of mixture to moisten
  9. Cook 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees (do not brown cheese)
  10. Let stand for about 15 minutes and serve in baking dish

Instructions
  1. Combine the seasonings in a small bowl
  2. Sprinkle all surfaces of fish evenly with 4 teaspoons of the seasoning mixture
  3. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
  4. Combine the breadcrumbs, parsley, green onions and remaining seasoning mix in a bowl
  5. Add the oil and mix it in with you fingers until crumbs are moist
  6. Dredge the fish fillets one at a time in the breadcrumb mixture
  7. Shake off any excess crumbs
  8. Place the seasoned fish on a nonstick baking sheet, presentation side up and cook for six minutes
  9. Turn the fish over and cook six minutes
  10. turn over one more time and cook until done (about four minutes more)
  11. Serve immediately

  1. Boil chicken breasts
  2. Chop chicken
  3. Mix chicken and one cup of cheddar cheese
  4. Set aside
  5. In a separate shallow dish, pour one can of the enchilada sauce
  6. Prepare tortillas according to package directions one at a time
  7. After cooking each tortilla dip both sides in enchilada sauce
  8. Fill each with 2-3 tablespoons of chicken cheese mixture in the center and roll from the edge to the other leaving the ends open
  9. Place in a greased casserole dish
  10. Pour the other can of enchilada sauce over the rolled enchiladas
  11. Top with the remaining cup of cheese and black olives
