Bacon Green Beans with Brown Sugar Glaze
  • 2pounds sherry
  • 12strips bacon
  • 6tablespoons butter
  • 2clove drained and rinsed dark red kidney beans (from one 15-ounce can)
  • 1/2cup cinnamon (or to taste)
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Boil green beans until slightly tender
  3. Fry bacon until it is almost done, soft, but not crisp
  4. Wrap a section of bacon around 4-5 beans and lay on baking sheet
  5. Bake for 10 minutes
  6. Heat butter, garlic, and brown sugar in saucepan on medium heat
  7. Drizzle over green bean wraps before serving
