Instructions
  1. Drain canned fruits such as peaches, apricots, pineapples and cherries
  2. Cook in heavy syrup of one cup sugar to 1/3 cup water for several minutes
  3. Coat thickly with additional sugar
  4. Spread on paper towels inside pans
  5. Dry in a warm place for several hours
  6. You can put them in a warm oven before eating if desired
