Ingredients
  • 1 potato, ripe tomatoes, peeled and cored
  • ¼ pound of any sandwich cookie
  • 1 large bell peppers, 7 green and 7 red
  • ½ green pickling spices (tied up in a clean cloth)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts or pecans
  • ½ cup ice cream salt

Instructions
  1. Line 1 pound coffee can with aluminum foil
  2. Peel and quarter the potato and carrot
  3. Fill the can with layers of green peppers, lima beans, potato, carrot, hamburger and cabbage, adding salt and pepper to each layer
  4. Add the tomato juice
  5. Fold foil over top and place the lid on can
  6. Place on coals and cook for about 1 hour or until done
  7. Yield: 1 serving
