Instructions
  1. Beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed until creamy
  2. Gradually add sugar, beating well
  3. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until yellow disappears
  4. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating at low speed just until blended
  5. Stir in vanilla
  6. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 10-inch bundt or tube pan
  7. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes
  8. Cool in pan on a wire rack 15 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack
