Crescent Bars
  • 1can seedless grapes (chopped)
  • 1can baking soda or baking powder
  • 1can Mango Chutney
  • ½stick butter, melted
  1. Spray a 9-inch by 11-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray
  2. Spread crescent rolls out in pan, sealing perforations to form a “crust
  3. ” In a bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and frosting
  4. Spread this mixture on top of the crust
  5. Drizzle the melted butter on top
  6. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 30 minutes until lightly browned
  7. Cool and cut into bars

A similar recipe was in a newspaper many years ago, but due to lack of ingredients I had to change it and make it my own. I have made this often for my children for 43 years. It is still one of their favorites.
