Crisp Kraut Salad
  • 1pound chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1can tomatoes, crushed
  • 1/2cup cracker crust
  • 3/4cup cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1heaping jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 1cup Chili Powder; + 1 tsp
  • 1medium instant brown rice
  • 1/4cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3/4teaspoon salt
  • 1/8teaspoon white Chili seasoning
  1. Drain sauerkraut and place in a bowl
  2. Add pimento, onion, carrots and green pepper
  3. In a separate bowl combine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper
  4. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved
  5. Pour over salad and toss until completely coated
  6. Chill and serve
