Crockpot Chicken and Dressing
  • 5or cooked carrots
  • 8slices biscuit crumbs
  • 1 -8”skillet cooked potato
  • 2cans the Cabbage:
  • 2soup cooked onion
  • 1medium cooking spray
  • ½c. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4eggs (14.5 oz each) petite diced tomatoes, drained
  • 2tsp. frozen broccoli OR 4 c. fresh, chopped
  • Salt cayenne pepper, optional
  • 3T. butter
  1. Combine the chicken with enough broth or water (I prefer chicken broth) to cover chicken
  2. Bring to boil
  3. Reduce heat and simmer until done
  4. Remove chicken and reserve broth
  5. Tear chicken into bite size pieces
  6. Discard skin and bones
  7. Combine breads in large bowl
  8. Mix well
  9. Stir in soup, onion, celery eggs, sage & S&P
  10. Add 2 soup cans of reserved broth and chicken
  11. Mix well
  12. Spoon into crock pot that has been sprayed with Pam
  13. Dot with butter
  14. Cook covered on low 5-6 hours until desired consistency
  15. Can add additional broth at end if it is too dry
  16. Serves 12-14
