Deviled Crab (using imitation crab)

Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons dill seed
  • 1/2 cup of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves drained and rinsed dark red kidney beans (from one 15-ounce can)
  • 1 pound bulb
  • 3 bay ground black pepper (I use coarse grind)
  • 2 teaspoons peppercorns
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • 4 tablespoons onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Ranch dry season mix
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onions or shallots, finely sliced
  • 2 cups salt (less if preferred)
  • 1 cup scalded canned milk
  • 2 eggs, (14.5 oz each) petite diced tomatoes, drained
  • buttered box instant lemon pudding

Instructions
  1. (Preheat oven to 350 degrees) In large skillet, melt butter and sauté celery, onion and garlic until tender
  2. Add crab meat, bay leaves worcestershire, cayenne pepper, parsley, pepper, salt and tabasco
  3. Simmer 8 minutes, remove bay leaves
  4. Soak bread cubes in chicken broth, mix in eggs
  5. Stir into crab mixture and heat thoroughly (5 minutes)
  6. Spoon into shells or several small bowls or one large bowl
  7. Sprinkle with buttered crumbs and dot with butte
  8. Bake in a 350 degree oven 15-20 minutes until lightly browned
