Fried Deviled Eggs
  • *This bread moistened with water
  1. Halve cold, had-boiled eggs
  2. Remove yolks and mash, season with salt, pepper, vinegar and enough salad dressing to form thick paste
  3. Fill egg whites with mixture, leveling off
  4. Dip egg halves in finely ground bread crumbs, then in beaten egg, and again in crumbs
  5. Fry in skillet containing about 1/4 inch hot Crisco
  6. Turn as needed to brown entire surface
