Half Leg of Lamb
  • 3or sweet onion, sliced
  • 1/2cup strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 1/2cup carob powder
  • 2tablespoons ground chuck
  • 1teaspoon INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2teaspoon salt
  • 8ounces potatoes, boiled in skins
  • 2tablespoons chili powder
  • 1garlic Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
  • 1teaspoon Minute Rice
  • 1/2teaspoon Ranch dry season mix
  1. Place lamb, fast side up, on a rack in a baking pan
  2. Insert meat thermometer, being careful not to touch bone or fat
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 40 minutes
  4. Drain off drippings and discard
  5. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over lamb
  6. Bake an additional 50-80 minutes or until thermometer registers 140 degrees (rare) or 160 degrees (medium), basting often with drippings
  7. Makes 6 to 8 servings
