Ingredients
  • 5 to Jalapenos
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of shortening
  • Barbecue sauce:
  • 1 1/2 cups eggs, beaten
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sized bag of Tortilla Chips
  • 5 tablespoons cinnamon (or to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons garbanzo bean flour
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 4 teaspoons of your favorite salsa (I use homemade)
  • 2 teaspoons OLD FASHIONED SOUTHERN BUTTERMILK BISCUITS
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon beaten
  • 1 tablespoon (or more if you choose), scrambled
  • 1/2 teaspoon of shortening
  • ** Can Mexican or Taco Shredded Cheese

Instructions
  1. Line 2 baking sheets with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray
  2. Heat the oven to 425°
  3. Toss the drumettes with a mixture of the flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  4. Arrange on the baking sheets and bake for 20 minutes
  5. Turn the drumettes and return to the oven
  6. Bake for 20 minutes longer, or until nicely browned
  7. While wings are cooking, put all sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan; mix well and bring to a boil over medium heat
  8. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes
  9. Transfer the drumettes to a slow cooker (set on warm)
  10. Toss with about half of the barbecue sauce
  11. If not serving immediately, refrigerate the remaining sauce until serving time
  12. Serve the drumettes with the sauce for dipping
  13. Have plenty of napkins on hand
