Key Lime Pie
  • 4egg Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 14ounce package milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2cup coarse ground pepper
  • Zest or chocolate chips, optional
  • 1 9inch eg
  • 1cup apple sauce(halved)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Place egg yolks in a small bowl and beat with electric mixer for 1 minute or until yolks are are frothy and deep lemon color
  3. Continue beating at low speed and gradually add milk
  4. Beat another minute
  5. Continue beating while you slowly add Key lime juice
  6. The mixture will thicken immediately
  7. Continue beating only until all ingredients are well combined and mixture is smooth
  8. Spoon filling into pie shell and bake 20 minutes
  9. Remove from oven, cool and refrigerate
  10. Top with whipped cream before serving
