Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Peppers cut in half lengthwise and seeded
  • 1 1/2 bottles tortilla chips or plain ruffles chips crumbled ( 1 tablespoon for each sandwich)
  • 1 small toasted pecans
  • 1 bell diced
  • 1 can dry white wine
  • 1 loaf of Sourdough bread
  • 8 slices of jack and cheddar cheese, shredded ( ½ cup each sandwich)

Instructions
  1. Brown meat, onion, and bell pepper til brown and cooked through
  2. Drain and rinse under hot water
  3. Place back in skillet and add barbeque sauce and mushrooms and cook til hot
  4. Cut bread length wise and dig out the soft white middle
  5. Layer 4 slices cheese, top with meat mixture and add another layer of cheese
  6. Take top of bread and place on top
  7. Wrap in tin foil and bake @ 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  8. Remove sandwich from oven and unwrap
  9. Cut into 6 sandwiches serve with chips
