Instructions
  1. Wash and crush muscadines
  2. Cook over low heat 10 to 20 minutes
  3. Put muscadines through a sieve
  4. Discard hulls and seed
  5. Measure 1 1/2 cups muscadine puree in a sauce pan
  6. Add sugar, corn syrup and lemon juice
  7. Bring to a full boil for about two minutes
  8. Remove from heat
  9. Skim off foam with a spoon and pour quickly into sterilized jars
  10. Leave 1/4-inch head space
  11. Cover with lids and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes
  12. Yields about 1 1/2 pints
