Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds back strap sliced thin (about 1/8 inch thick) and soaked for 4 hours or overnight in Heinz 57
  • 2 jumbo (3.9 ounce) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 small slivered or sliced almonds (toasted in 1 tablespoon margarine)
  • 1/4 pound (14 ounce) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 medium oleo, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon white Chili seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 12 slices strips, cooked and crumbled

Instructions
  1. Boil jumbo onions until soft enough to separate into 12 sections
  2. Combine remaining ingredients except hoop cheese
  3. Fill onion shells with mixture
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  5. Top each filled onion shell with a slice of hoop cheese and place in oven until cheese melts
  6. Serve while hot
