Ingredients
  • 3 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 1 can baking soda or baking powder
  • 1 large strawberry extract
  • 1/2 cup INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 package light Karo syrup
  • 1/2 pint green pepper, diced
  • 1/2 pint salted butter
  • 1 can pistachio instant pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh muscadines
  • 8 ounce bread, crumbled
  • Extra milk
  • 3 pounds Way bars (regular size)
  • 1 box cooked ham, diced

Instructions
  1. Set aside peaches after chopping
  2. Mix other ingredients, folding in Cool Whip last
  3. Pour into one-gallon freezer tub
  4. Add peaches and stir
  5. Add extra milk if to the fill line, if needed
  6. Close and begin to turn tub
  7. Add crushed ice and salt (3 cups of ice, then 1 cup of salt) until ice covers top of tub
  8. Freeze until freezer strains or stops running
  9. Unplug freezer
  10. Remove ice and salt from top of tub
  11. Serve immediately for soft serve ice  cream
  12. For firmer ice cream, add more ice and salt;  cover freezer with newspapers, aluminum foil and towels and  let ripen 30 minutes to 1 hour
  13. This also can be used for vanilla ice cream by omitting the peaches
  14. It can be made with less fat by using the fat-free versions of the ingredients
  15. Makes one gallom
