  • 1 cup melted butter, plus 4 tablespoons
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 1 1/3 cups chopped dates
  • 3 1/2 cups 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Salted 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions
  1. Combine butter and peanut butter in large mixing bowl, creaming well
  2. Add sugar, and beat well: Gradually add flour and beat well
  3. Cover dough tightly, and refrigerate several hours or over night
  4. Shape dough into 1 - inch balls: roll each in corn flake crumbs
  5. Press one peanut in center of each
  6. Place on greased cookie sheet: Bake @ 350 for 12 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned
  7. Yield: about 5 dozen
