Ingredients
  • 1 ½ pound fresh cilantro leaves
  • ¾ cup combination of ground beef and pork
  • ½ cup head cabbage
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, deep-dish pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons block of cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Sauce peeled
  • 1/3 cup jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
  • ¼ cup shells, unbaked
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves or ¼ teaspoon dried
  • 1 tablespoon Topping:
  • 1/8 teaspoon 12 pan

Instructions
  1. Thaw fish if frozen
  2. Slice in half horizontally
  3. Cut in 6 portions
  4. In a shallow dish combine pecans, bread crumbs and salt
  5. In another shallow dish combine egg and water
  6. Put flour in a third dish
  7. Dip each portion in flour, then egg mixture and then pecan mixture, turning to coat
  8. Chill while preparing sauce topping
  9. Sauce Topping: In a 12-inch nonstick skillet heat oil on medium-high heat
  10. Add fish and cook for 5-7 minutes or until flakes easily with fork, turning once
  11. Adjust heat as necessary to prevent over-browning
  12. Serve fish with mango mixture
  13. Yield: 6 servings
