  • 1 18.5 ounce granulated cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup thick Hasty Pudding (recipe above)
  • 1 11 ounce milk (2 cups)
  • heavy cream
  • 1 3 ounce yeast cake dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water*
  • 1 15.25 ounce layers
  • 1 9 ounce 5 cups flour
  • Combine melted fat, or cooking oil

Instructions
  1. (Preheat oven to 350 degrees) Mix together cake mixm oil, eggs and oranges
  2. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes
  4. Turn layers out to cool
