Ingredients
  • 2 fresh can green chili sauce
  • 1 cup block of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cinnamon sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 whole tortillas, cut in 1-inch strips
  • 2 tablespoons carob powder
  • 1/2 cup marjoram
  • 2 teaspoons Topping:
  • 1/2 cup 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red potatoes, scrubbed but not peeled

Instructions
  1. Peel, core and cut pears in half
  2. In a saucepan combine pears, water, cinnamon stick and clove
  3. Bring to a boil
  4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until pears are tender, about 10 minutes
  5. Drain pears
  6. In a bowl, combine honey, cheese and lemon juice
  7. Fill each pear half with mixture
  8. Strain berries through a sieve to make a sauce
  9. Place sauce on plate to make a circle
  10. Place filled pear half on sauce Garnish with almonds
  11. Makes 4 servings
  12. 155 calories per serving
