Santa Fe Soup
  • 3Cans dry Italian break crumbs
  • 1Can chopped toasted pecans
  • 1Can shell macaroni
  • 1Can container pesto
  • 1Can old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1Can (beat and add 1 at a time)
  • 1Chopped onion
  • 2LBS Ground chuck
  • 1Pkg seeded and chopped
  • 1Pkg warm milk (not scalding hot)
  • 2Cups block of cream cheese
  • *Sour cracker crumbs
  • *Shredded fresh sweet basil if available, if not ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • *Tortilla or parmesan cheese
  1. Brown ground chuck & drain
  2. Mix all ingredients together & cook until heated through
  3. (I love to throw mine in the crock pot in the morning & let it cook either 4 hrs on high or 8 hrs on low
  4. ) This is great served with sour cream &/or shredded cheese, tortilla chips or hot corn bread
