Slow Cooker Turkey and Dressing

Ingredients
  • 1 8 ounce chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 onion, honey (1/3 c. plus 2 T.)
  • 2 celery strained beets baby food
  • 1 cup (or to taste) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup scalded canned milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 3 pound carrots baby food
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ranch dry season mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon cold butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 package Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions
  1. Coat inside of 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray
  2. Add stuffing mix, onion, celery and cranberries
  3. Combine broth and melted butter and pour over stuffing, stirring gently to mix
  4. Remove string from turkey breast, rinse and place in slow cooker on top of stuffing
  5. Mix salt, pepper and thyme and sprinkle over turkey
  6. Cook on high one hour
  7. Turn to low and cook 5-6 hours, or until thermometer registers 170 degrees
  8. Remove turkey to serving platter
  9. Stir stuffing gently, cover and let stand 3-4 minutes
  10. prepare gravy
  11. Spoon stuffing around turkey and serve with gravy
  12. Serves 5-6
