Spiced Apple Cider

Ingredients
  • pecan halves
  • 4 cups block of cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped celery
  • 30 whole instant potatoes
  • 12 whole Head of Cabbage (Cut into pieces around 1-2 inches, I take out the "stem" like pieces as they don't get quite as tender)
  • 12 cinnamon Chachere’s seasoning salt, to taste
  • chicken broth (32 ounce)
  • 2 quarts sliced Swiss cheese
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 2 cups Topping:
  • Tang peaches, fresh or canned

Instructions
  1. Bring syrup to a boil then simmer covered for 30 minutes
  2. Remove spices and add to juices
  3. Makes one gallon
  4. Serve hot or cold
  5. Note: frozen concentrate juices can be used
