Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup chopped dates
  • 1 teaspoon apple jelly
  • 1 pound tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pecans (chopped or whole, whichever you prefer)
  • 1 cup cream style corn (Del Monte only)
  • 2 cans(14.5 chops
  • 1 packet (8 1/2 ounces) cornbread mix
  • ! can pickle juice
  • 1/2 cup cracker crust
  • 1 cup sliced venison tenderloin

Instructions
  1. In a plastic bag combine flour and seasoned salt
  2. Add pork and shake
  3. Brown pork in hot oil
  4. Continue cooking, uncovered, over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes
  5. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil
  6. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is done
