Instructions
  1. Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut the berries into fourths
  2. Put them in a bowl and pour 1/4 cup sugar over them and toss
  3. Set aside
  4. Melt the stick of butter in a 9x9 casserole dish in a preheated oven set to 400 degrees
  5. Mix together 1 cup sugar, flour, and milk
  6. Pour batter into casserole dish on top of melted butter
  7. Do not stir
  8. Pour strawberries into casserole on top of batter
  9. Separate strawberries with a fork without stirring
  10. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown
