Ingredients
  • 2 1/3 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups unbaked pie shell
  • 2 1/2 cups red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 6 tablespoons shells, unbaked
  • 1 package strawberries
  • 1 package jar maraschino cherries, drained (reserve liquid for use)
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients, except strawberries and butter, together and place in medium to large baking pan
  2. Preheat oven to 425-450 degrees; cook 25 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned and remove from oven
  3. Melt butter over low heat; pour over bread and let set for 10 minutes
  4. Cut strawberries into halves and place on top of bread, then serve
