Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup can creamed corn
  • 3 egg baking powder (We use sodium free Hain Featherweight baking powder.)
  • 1/4 teaspoon egg yolks to be used on pastry crust
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 teaspoon grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon drippings or oil
  • 1 package cut green beans
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups Jalapeño peppers
  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons jar sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained

Instructions
  1. Sprinkle two tablespoons cracker crumbs into a greased 9-inch pie plate
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form
  3. Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form
  4. Fold in vanilla, pecans and remaining cracker crumb
  5. Spread meringue onto the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan
  6. Bake 300 degrees for 45 minutes
  7. Turn oven off and do not open door
  8. Let cool in the oven overnight
  9. Melt chocolate and butter, drizzle over shell
  10. Let stand 15 minutes or until set
  11. Top with berries
  12. Whip the cream and confectioner's sugar until soft peaks form
  13. Spoon over berries
  14. Yields six to eight servings
