  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 2 cups INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups chopped dates
  • 2 teaspoons egg
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2/3 cup mashed avocado
  • 2 cups milk
  • Filling:
  • 1 1/2 cups shortening
  • 1 box unsalted butter
  • 2 to wild honey
  • 1 small canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter

Instructions
  1. To make pies, cream shortening and sugar until fluffy
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa
  4. Add flour and milk alternately to creamed mixture
  5. Drop by the teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet
  6. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
  7. Let cool
  8. To make filling, cream shortening and sugar
  9. Add milk then marshmallow cream
  10. Cream this mixture until fluffy
  11. Add vanilla and blend thoroughly
  12. Spread a small amount of filling onto one pie
  13. Top with another pie and you have a Whoopee Pie
