Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup (recipe follows)
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries, local or in store
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons quick oats
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk (you need to use your cup for this or until it’s a medium consistency.)
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped dates
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons can of Pet Milk
  • 1 teaspoon egg
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 10-inch tube pan
  2. Combine 3/4 cup walnut pieces with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in small bowl and set aside
  3. Cream butter with one cup sugar and vanilla in large bowl
  4. Add eggs and sour c ream and stir until just mixed
  5. Add remaining dry ingredients to mixture in a small bowl and gradually add them to butter mixture
  6. Stir in 1/2 cup walnuts
  7. Pour half of batter into pan and sprinkle with half the nut and sugar mixture
  8. Add remaining batter, then rest of nut mixture
  9. Bake 45-50 minutes
  10. Cool and remove from pan
