Strawberry Congealed Salad

2 1/2 cup pretzels, broken in pieces
1 1/2 sticks margarine
8 ounces CoolWhip
1 cup sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
6 ounces strawberry Jello
2 cups boiling water
10 ounces frozen strawberries
Mix pretzels and margarine. Pour into large baking dish. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Stir twice while baking. Set aside to cool. Mix CoolWhip, sugar and cream cheese. Spread on top of the pretzel mixture when cool. Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. Put in refrigerator until mixture begins to congeal then pour over cream cheese mixture. Let stand in refrigerator.
