Peppered Gravy Mix

1 cup flour
1 cup non-fat dry milk
3/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons (rounded) chicken bouillon granules
1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
2 tablespoons (rounded) real bacon bits
Mix all ingredients well in a medium mixing bowl. Store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container. To make 1 1/2 cups gravy, bring one cup of water to boiling point. Meanwhile, make a paste of 1/4 cup cold water and 1/4 cup of the mix. Turn the heat to low. Gradually add paste to the simmering water, stirring constantly. Continue to stir until gravy thickens. Store remaining mix in refrigerator until needed.
