1 (2 1/2- 3 pound) English roast
1 large onion, chopped
1 large bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 large can stewed tomatoes
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
All-purpose flour
Wesson vegetable oil
Cut small slits in roast and stuff with onion, bell pepper and garlic. Salt and pepper and place in a plastic airtight container. Pour stewed tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce over, and refrigerate overnight. Before cooking, pour off tomato mixture (reserve) and batter roast with flour. Heat small amount of oil in large skillet and brown roast evenly. Place in slow cooker, pour tomato mixture and two cups water over roast, and cook until tender. Serve over rice.
