Ingredients
2 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped raisins
2 cups figs with juice
1 cup chopped nuts (dredge in flour)
1/2 cup coconut
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 sticks margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon each of nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and clove
Directions
Mix all ingredients well and bake in a greased pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
