Ingredients
1 cup starter
2/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons bakin soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (6 ounce) semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts
Confectioner's sugar
Directions
Combine starter, oil, eggs and vanilla in a bowl and mix well. Combine dry ingredients; stir into starter mixture just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into two well-greased 8x4x2 inch baking pans. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees or until bread tests done. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing onto a wire rack. Dust with confectioner's sugar. Center of loaves may dimple slightly.
