Shooting Star Cake

2 cans (15-ounce) pineapple hunks, drained
1 package white cake mix
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 can vanilla frosting
blue food coloring
Blue decorating icing
Drain pineapple; reserve juice. Add water to juice to make one and one-fourth cups. Beat together cake mix, reserve liquid, oil and eggs in a bowl until moistened. Beat two minutes at medium speed. Stir in one cup of pineapple. Pour into two greased and floured 8- or 9-inch round pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans. Cool completely. Mix frosting with food coloring to make a light blue color. Place one cake layer on plate; spread with half of the frosting. Top with remaining layer; spread with remaining frosting. Draw star outline with blue icing on top of cake. Fill in with remaining pineapple.
