Ingredients
12 hard-boiled eggs
2 tablespoons sugar
6 peppercorns
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 garlic bulb
3 cups cider vinegar
2 tablespoons salt
2 whole cloves
1 onion, sliced
1 teaspoon dill seed
Directions
Combine vinegar, celery seed, sugar, salt, peppercorns and cloves; simmer 10 minutes; strain. Place peeled eggs in a glass jar with dill seed; garlic is optional. Pour hot liquid over eggs. Cover and refrigerate in liquid at least three days before using (will keep about a month).
