Ingredients
4 sticks butter
8 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Glaze:
5 tablespoons milk
A few drop of orange food coloring
4 cups confectioner's sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted buter, melted
Directions
Cream butter and eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into buttered bundt/tube pan and even it out. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 50-55 minutes. Glaze: Combine milk and food coloring in small bowl and set aside. In medium bowl whisk together sugar and melted butter, add the milk mixture and continue whisking until smooth. Pour over the cake.
