Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

1 large head of cabbage
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup rice, cooked
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning or thyme
2 tablespoons cooking
2 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon vinegar
Wash and steam the head of cabbage. Cool. Separate leaves. Brown ground beef. Add salt, pepper. Mix together meat, rice, egg, poultry seasoning and oil. Spoon meat mixture into cabbage leaves and roll up. Place in a baking dish. Mix tomato sauce, brown sugar, water and vinegar. Spoon over rolls. Bake 45m inures to an hour in a 350-degree oven.
