Barbecue Sauce for Beef, Chicken and Ribs

Ingredients
Beef:
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) tomato puree
1/3 cup dark molasses
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
Chicken:
In a saucepan stir together the following:
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Ribs:
In a saucepan cook in 1 tablespoon oil until tender:
1/2 cup onion
1 clove garlic, minced
Stir in: 1-8 ounce can tomato sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Beef:
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and cook for 20 minutes. Serve on beef.
Chicken:
Cook 2 minutes or until onion is tender. Makes 3/4 cup. Serve on chicken.
Ribs:
Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon over ribs and bake or broil for 30 to 60 minutes
