Pretzel Salad

First layer:
2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted oleo
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Second layer:
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup sugar
8 ounces sour cream
8 ounces Cool Whip
Mix and bake first layer for eight minutes at 400 degrees in a 9x13-inch pan. Cool until firm. Then beat cream cheese, sour cream and sugar together for second layer. Fold in Cool whip. Spread on top of pretzel layer. Third layer: Mix one large box of strawberry Jell-O in two cups of boiling water. Add two 10-ounce packages of frozen strawberries (do not thaw) or one quart of fresh strawberries. After strawberries thaw in Jell-O mixture, let them sit until mixture starts to thicken. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate.
