No Sugar Added Cookies

3 Ripe Bananas
2 Cups Oatmeal (uncooked)
1/3 Cup Oil
1 Cup Raisins (I prefer Craisins, but other similar dried fruits may be substituted here too)
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts
1 TBSP Vanilla
Mash bananas. Mix all ingredients & drop by spoonfuls (you may press them together in your hand first, if you want) onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes approximately 2 - 3 dozen.

Note: These are a wonderful treat for someone with diabetes, but even though there is no sugar (or flower) added, there are still carbs & natural sugars in the fruit. This is a soft, cookie. They won't spread or change much in appearance when they bake.
