Venison or beef delicious meatball

1 lb. of ground beef or venison. 1 tbl spoon Italian seasoning I prefer McCormick italian grinder. 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese. 1 cup of italian seasoned breadcrumbs. 1 lg egg. Tsp salt, tsp black fresh ground pepper. 2 jars of the best sauce you can afford. I use 1 lrg can of san mazano tomatoes And 1 jar of ragu garden chunks. 1 tbl spoon of sugar.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Put sauce in a crock pot on high. Add all ingredients except sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix and make meatballs about the size of golf balls place on cooking tray sprayed with Pam and brown in oven 10-15 minutes turning them once. Put sugar in crock pot with sauce and add meatballs. Cook on high 30 minutes or until done. Place meatballs on a serving tray with toothpicks or allow guest to get theirs out of the crock on their own. These are also great on Italian or French bread with slices of Provelogne cheese and toasted in the oven until the cheese melts. We have been making these meatballs for xmas and gatherings for 30+ years utilizing our family hunting success meat or beef. My aunt even used this with Tofu. Well she like it. Need I say more?
