Sausage Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers

1lb. of ground sausage (in a roll)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (your choice)
1 pound jalapenos, halved lengthwise and seeded, and placed in cold water for 30 minutes (to soften)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place sausage in a skillet over medium heat, and cook until evenly brown. Drain. In a bowl, mix the sausage, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese.Spoon about 1 tablespoon sausage mixture into each jalapeno half. Arrange stuffed halves in a baking dish. Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
*Tip: Wear disposable gloves when handling the jalapenos
