1 pound shrimp
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup beer, room temperature
1 cup coarsely diced tomatoes
Clean and devein the shrimp, set aside. In a small bowl combine the seasonings. Combine the butter, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and the seasonings in a large skillet over high heat. When the butter has melted, add the tomato, then the shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring evenly. Add the beer and cover; cook 1 minute longer. Remove from heat and serve over grits.
