Ingredients
4 slices of sourdough bread
4 fresh eggs
butter
4 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper
Directions
In a large skillet heat up 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Take 4 slices of sourdough bread and place on a flat surface. Use a shot glass and press down on the center slice of bread and remove the small circle of bread. Spread butter on both sides of the bread that now has a hole in it and place them in the skillet. Crack an egg one at a time and place it into the circle of each bread slice. Add a pinch of salt and pepper across the yolk and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
