Basic Macaroni Salad

4 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2-4 tablespoons pickle relish
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 small jar pimientos, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Mix everything together in a large bowl. Stir well. If you need more juice add 1-2 teaspoons of vinegar. This can be made into a meal by adding 1 cup cubed cheese, 1 can of tuna, or 1 can of chicken, or leftover cut-up chicken, or cooked ground beef.
