4-4½ c. bread flour
1 c. milk
1 pkg. yeast
¼ c. sugar

1 t. salt
3 eggs
¼ c. butter
½ c. butter
1 c. sugar

grated peel of 2 oranges
1½ c. powdered sugar
2-3 T. orange juice

2 t. grated orange peel
Mix 2 cups flour and yeast in large mixing bowl. Microwave butter and milk to 120 degrees. Add salt and sugar to milk mixture. Add milk mixture to flour and yeast. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Beat at low speed on electric mixer for ½ minute, scraping bowl. Beat 3 minutes at high speed. Stir in 2 ½ cups flour or enough to make soft dough. Turn dough onto floured cloth or board and knead until smooth and elastic. Shape into ball and place in greased bowl. Turn once to grease all sides. Cover, let rise in warm place until double in bulk. Prepare filling: Cream ½ cup butter and 1 cup sugar. Add grated peel. Punch dough down. Divide dough into 2 equal parts. Roll each into a rectangle ¼-inch thick. Spread ½ filling on each rectangle. Roll up like a jelly roll, starting at long side. Slice 1-inch rolls and place cut side up in greased round cake pans. Cover; let rise in warm place until double in bulk. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Drizzle with icing. Makes 3 pans. Freezes well.
