1 pound hamburger meat
1 pound sausage
1 Polish sausage, thinly sliced
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 large bell pepper
1 16-ounce can pinto beans
1 16-ounce can pork-n-beans
1 16-ounce can white beans
1 16-ounce can kidney beans
1 cup ketchup
1 cup barbecue sauce
½ cup brown sugar
Salt, to taste
In Dutch oven, brown hamburger meat, sausage, thinly sliced Polish sausage, finely chopped onion and bell pepper until fully cooked. Add remaining ingredients leaving the liquid in all the beans. Cook over an open fire stirring often. Allow all ingredients to simmer together. This recipe serves approximately 20.
