Ingredients
1 ½ pounds deer
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon pepper
1 cup sour cream
Dash of garlic salt (optional)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
½ soup can of water
1 can button mushrooms
Directions
Cut deer into small cubes. Combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic salt in a Ziploc bag; add the deer and shake well. Brown the deer and onion in small amount of cooking oil in a skillet. Mix the soup with water and add to the skillet. Mix the soup with water and add to the skillet. Simmer until the deer is tender. Add the mushrooms and sour cream and heat through. Best served over hot rice. Makes 4 servings.
